Group Classes
The students learn and play in front of each other every week in class, they then become comfortable with audiences and are less inhibited to play in front of friends, relatives or strangers. Our aspiring musicians develop confidence and ease in performing.
Intro to Beginning Piano
Semester offered: Spring, Summer, and Fall
Requirement: Interest in music and desire to learn
Age group: 5 1/2 years to 11 years
1st grade - 6th grade
Schedule: Tuesday, 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Tuition: $25 per session
Duration: 60 minutes
An introduction to a series of new discoveries in piano. The course lays a solid foundation for piano playing. Even at an early stage in your musical journey, you will develop your fine motor skills and practice discipline. You will also learn how to read treble clef, bass clef and play simple melodies on the grand staff. Have some serious fun learning the basics. By the end of the semester, you will be able to play as an ensemble with basic piano competency.


Beginning Piano

Calling all aspiring young pianist. In this exciting course, you will learn to expand your existing piano skills and be able to put some personality in your piano skills. During this class, you will improve your musicianship, performance level and harmonic vocabulary. You will also increase your ability to read and play different notes simultaneously, understand chord progression, understand accidentals and so much more. You will gain performance quality and confidence with exercises we'll work on through out the semester.

Intro to Music Production
Semester offered: Spring, Summer, and Fall

Age group: 10 years to 17 years

Schedule: Thursday, 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm

Duration: 90 minutes
Learn how to produce music on the computer. Create your own original instrumental tracks or beats for vocalists to sing/rap over. Using computers you’ll learn about music theory, music production software, sampling, sequencing, and synthesizers. Hip-Hop, R&B, Reggaeton, Techno, experimental electronica – any music that interests you!

Lyric Writing

Take your music to the next level. This hands-on class covers how to create a song from start to finish. We provide a song pattern that you will construct and make it your own. Learn how to use your senses and draw inspiration to develop your song. Learn simple musicality, rhythm, concentration and discipline in fun environment. Throughout the process you will build from your existing skills and achieve your musical milestone.

Drum Set Fundamentals

Build a solid foundation in drum set performance and musicianship. The class starts with the basics, such as the concept of time; how to develop proper grip, playing area, and sound; and how to achieve balance and evenness between your hands. The students will perform helpful strengthening and dexterity exercises and explore drum rudiments, including the double stroke roll, single stroke roll, paradiddle, double paradiddle, triple paradiddle, drag, drag paradiddle #1, flam, and flam accent. You will develop basic snare drum reading skills and how to interpret drum set charts, including various time signatures such as 4/4, 2/4, 3/4, 12/8, 6/8, 9/8, and 5/4. The course moves on to topics related to two-, three- and four-way coordination, touch, balance, dynamics, and shadings in the context of common groove patterns found in Rhythm & Blues, Pop-Rock, Funk, Rock, and Jazz.


Youth Hip Hop

Join this energizing and exciting dance class that combines pop jazz and hip-hop styles. During class, students will build their self-confidence, attitude and teamwork to create a one of a kind performance for their friends and family at the end of the semester.

Singing with Soul

Singing with Soul explores the foundations of Gospel, POP, and R&B in a fun environment. You will be encouraged to identify and experiment with their own unique sound throughout the class. Together, we will learn breathing, projection, and articulations to achieve a powerful, dynamic sound. This class is designed to enable you to reach your musical potential and build your self-confidence.
